Feeling overwhelmed with your book launch process? Get organized with my Book Launch Timeline Template. It's a part of my Book Launch Success Kit that helped me make $2200 in book sales before my books were published.
In this blog post, I share:
👉🏾Tasks to complete during your launch process to increase sales
👉🏾How to stay organized with all the moving parts of your book’s release
👉🏾How to map out when to do what task
If you’re someone who struggles with staying organized during your book’s launch, then this is the resource for you. My Book Launch Timeline Template includes breakdowns of the many different tasks you can do to have a successful book launch that creates raving fans who are more than excited to advertise your book on your behalf.
At the very least, you want to have three to six months to properly host your book launch. If you can't do that, then definitely you can adjust this accordingly to have some of the items happen after your book comes out. If your book is already out, then choose a few options to host a relaunch campaign or sprinkle the items throughout the year at times that they align with.
To begin, hover over the “Start Here” area and once you click the show more button, it'll give you the steps of how to use this.
There are a few key features to note. The first column is tasks that are a great example of the different kinds of things you would want to do to prepare for your book launch. However, by no means should you feel like you have to do all of those things to be successful.
The Resource column is where you can link different helpful resources you might need for help completing that step.
When deciding on dates to complete these items, you’ll add those across the top of the template. The items that are further towards the top are going to be the ones you would want to do further out because they will take more time and they rely on previously completed tasks. For example, in your Book Launch Plan, you would want to do that six months out in advance. Your overall plan affects everything else, so you’ll find that towards the top.
Comment below and let me know if you used a book launch plan for your books or if you plan on using one the next time you release a book. If you don't have my Book Launch Success Kit, please check out the links below or scoop up just this template for a clearly planned release.
